Enter the 8th edition of the Out of Labs Challenge now through November 18, 2019!

THE OUT OF LABS CHALLENGE

With the Out of Labs Challenge, boost your chances of turning your innovative idea into a viable project or refining your idea to make it viable. The challenge is open to innovations from all fields—from the humanities and social sciences to engineering—regardless of the stage your idea is at.

To this end, the Challenge offers the opportunity to join one of the two technology transfer support programs offered by SATT Grenoble Alpes Linksium:

  • For projects that are just starting out: researchers category >>> support for development
  • For start-up projects: entrepreneurs category >>> incubation support

TAKE PART IN THE CHALLENGE

To participate in the Out of Labs Challenge, simply [register]by November 18, 2019, and then fill out the appropriate application form.
The pitches will take place in Grenoble on November 28, 2019. Participants will have 10 slides/10 minutes to convince a jury of innovation experts.
Support for the winners will begin in January 2020.

TO WIN

Win personalized support to develop your project and prepare to present it to the SATT Linksium Investment Committee.

  • Following the pitches, ALL participants will receive recommendations while presenting their projects to all of the competition partners.
  • The winners of the Challenge receive tailored support to boost their chances of being accepted into one of Linksium’s two types of support and funding programs
    • Researcher Category: Out of Labs support with a coach and the opportunity to commission a rapid study. Boost your chances of being approved by the Investment Committee and gaining access to Linksium’s maturation program, which may qualify you for entry into the maturation support program, with financial backing averaging €160,000 over 16 months.
    • Entrepreneur Category: four workshops to boost your project and personalized support. Connections with research labs to identify innovative technologies for your project. Boost your chances of being approved by the Investment Committee and gaining access to the Linksium incubation program, which may qualify you for incubation support, including an average of €150,000 in funding over 14 months.
