ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

"In 30 years, humans will be prohibited from driving cars," predict researchers in artificial intelligence (Yann LeCun, 2016). Images have invaded our daily lives, but understanding them automatically remains a major challenge: distinguishing a cat from a dog is an easy task for a child, but still difficult for a computer. By imitating the learning abilities of the human brain, artificial intelligence, and more specifically artificial neural networks, are now capable of recognizing, describing, or even generating images. Numerous applications are within reach: autonomous driving, medical diagnosis assistance, climate monitoring, etc.
