ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Climate change, which is leading to increasingly severe and frequent heat waves, poses health risks and causes significant discomfort.
At the same time, air conditioners are becoming increasingly widespread and commonplace. Their performance is constantly improving, and they provide significant indoor comfort. In addition, they are often reversible, allowing for both heating in the winter and cooling in the summer.
Why do we need them? How do they work? What impact do they have on the environment, both locally and globally? Are these machines the solution to helping us cope with global warming in the coming decades?
