ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The European Higher Education Area is a hub of fruitful cooperation among its universities; one example is the Erasmus program. This momentum has been further strengthened by the recent establishment of university alliances, such as the UNITA – Universitas Montium , of which USMB is a member.
These alliances are redefining the relationships among their members by fostering concrete joint initiatives: student mobility, joint degrees, shared research projects, and more. These activities also require the establishment of new legal structures.
Are we witnessing the emergence of true European universities? Could they eventually replace national universities?
