The conference "The European university: the university of tomorrow? "will be presented by Damien Bouvier, research professor at the Center de recherche en Droit Antoine FavreFaculty of Law, and will take place Thursday January 9, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Turbine Sciences in Annecy (entrance via Cinéma la Turbine).

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The European area is a fertile breeding ground for cooperation between the universities within it, as exemplified by the Erasmus program. This momentum has been further strengthened by the recent creation of university alliances, such as UNITA - Universitas Montium. Universitas Montium of which the USMB is a member.
These alliances redefine the links between their members by stimulating concrete joint actions: student mobility, joint degrees, shared research projects, etc. These activities call for the establishment of new legal structures.
Are we witnessing the emergence of truly European universities? Could they eventually replace national universities?
