Art/Science Apéro – "Are we all connected?"

January 21, 2020, 7:00 p.m.

The town of La Motte-Servolex, in collaboration withthe La Traverse Cultural Center and in partnership with the Gambit Company and the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, is co-organizing a lecture and performance entitled "Are we all connected?" on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 7 p.m. in the Saint-Jean hall.

This fifth edition of the "Apéro Arts Science" concept will examine the intimate links that are being forged between the body and new technologies. The body is indeed an endless source of creativity, innovation, and digital applications, raising ethical, anthropological, and legislative questions that our contemporary societies will have to address. We will discuss the bodies of athletes and dancers and how they push their limits in relation to digital technology.

Speakers from the University of Savoie Mont Blanc will shed scientific light on these questions, while dancers and musicians will express these questions live.
"An evening unlike any other, designed to break with convention and leave you feeling a little different."

Artistic direction: Dominique Guilhaudin
Live music: Bertrand Blessing
