On Monday , November 20, 2017 , La Traverse cultural center and the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) are hosting an Art/Science Apéro event entitled "Men, women, we are not what we seem to be."
ABOUT THE EVENT
Based on the choreography Catch Me by the Gambit Dance Company, enjoy an evening of discovery and practice by exploring the possible intersections between art and the humanities, before sharing some delicious treats. In Catch Me, four dancers, four "luchadors," move from attack to evasion, from dazzling crossings to acrobatic lifts... then the masks come off! A convivial and original encounter on a very topical theme, an evening where your taste buds, ears, and eyes will be stimulated.
Three researchers from USMB are participating in this round table discussion:
- Christophe Hourde from the Inter-University Laboratory of Motor Biology (LIBM),
- Carole Brandon from the Languages, Literatures, Societies, Transborder and International Studies (LLSETI) laboratory,
- Sandrine Jamain Samson from the Department of Science and Technology of Physical and Sports Activities (STAPS) atthe Faculty of Science and Mountain Studies.
Fabienne Gillonnier, Vice President in charge of Equality and Culture at USMB, will moderate the event.
This event is being organized with the help ofthe Multimedia and Internet Professions (MMI) department atthe Chambéry University Institute of Technology for video recording, the participation of the Artistic and Cultural Project and Structure Management (GEPSAC) department, and the participation of the STAPS department.
