The Prefecture of Savoie is organizing the Assises territoriales de l’Islam de France (Regional Conference on Islam in France) on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 4 p.m., in the Decottignies amphitheater at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc in Chambréy.
These meetings, open to all, will provide an opportunity to highlight the difficulties encountered and put forward concrete proposals on three major themes: the governance of Islam in France, the financing of Islam in France, and the training of ministers of religion.
The President of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, Denis Varashin, will speak at the opening alongside the Prefect of Savoie, Louis Laugier.
