On March 2, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., La Turbine Sciences is hosting an event as part of the Brasserie des Sciences lecture series at the Bistro des Tilleuls (13 Chemin de la Prairie, Annecy) on the topic “Emotional Intelligence: A Key to Living Together and Improving Our Health? ." This lecture will be led by Michèle Magnin-Tondeur, head of the Health Department for the City of Annecy.
ABOUT THE MEETING
Joy, fear, anger, sadness, surprise, disgust, gratitude, wonder… all emotions have a place in our lives. Emotional intelligence is a way to discover and come to terms with our emotions so we can learn to live with them. Emotional skills therefore play a significant role in all important areas of life: psychological and physical health, interpersonal relationships, the atmosphere at school or work… Developing these skills is possible throughout life, but it’s always better to start early. So whether it’s for you, your children, your loved ones, or your colleagues… why not, for once, talk about this form of intelligence that is essential to life?
