Organized by Galerie Eurêka, the “Entre Midi & Science” coffee-and-discussion event on December 8, 2022, focusing on the theme “The Anthropocene: A New Geological Era,” will be led by Fabien Arnaud, a researcher at the Environments, Dynamics, and Mountain Territories Laboratory (EDYTEM). It will take place at the Chambéry Museum of Fine Arts.
Climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss… the Earth is now directly affected by human activity. Some scientists even claim that we have entered a new geological era. Are we truly facing an unprecedented environmental crisis? Are there any ways to take action?
This coffee-and-conversation event will be moderated by Fabien Arnaud, a CNRS research director at the EDYTEM laboratory at USMB. Starting at 12:00 p.m., explore the “Two Mountains” photography exhibition, then join us for the talk at 12:30 p.m.
This event is organized by Galerie Eurêka as part of the “Entre midi et science” series, a series of meetings with experts who lead discussions over coffee.
