Despite the sector’s economic significance, the law governing ski lifts has not yet been the subject of a comprehensive study. The conference aims to provide a broad-based study that will be useful to both economic stakeholders in mountain regions and the scientific community. The objective of this event is to clarify the legal framework for the management of ski lifts in mountain areas by highlighting existing uncertainties, identifying the issues at hand, and proposing practical solutions.
This event brings together the academic community—particularly from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Chambéry, Grenoble, Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand)—and local professionals (specialized attorneys, judges, local elected officials, employees of local governments and state agencies, representatives of ski lift companies, etc.).
