In May 2025, LAPP is organizing an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the laboratory as part of the international photography competition "Global Physics Photowalk 2025," coordinated by the Interactions collaboration. Access is limited to a select number of photographers. Applications are open until May 14 at 12 p.m.
Take photos behind the scenes at LAPP
On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the LAPP will open its doors to a very limited number of photographers, both amateur and professional, to allow them to discover and photograph behind the scenes of the laboratory, as part of the Global Physics Photowalk.
To participate in this exclusive and exceptional tour, applications are open until May 14 at 12 p.m. on this website.
The selected photographers will have the opportunity to visit areas of the laboratory that are rarely accessible to the public.
The general terms and conditions of participation can be found on the CNRS Nuclear & Particles website, and the specific conditions applicable to LAPP will be sent directly to the photographers selected for the visit.
The Global Photowalk 2025 international photo contest
This event is part of the Global Physics Photowalk, organized by the Interactions collaboration in the spring and summer at several laboratories around the world. In France, this initiative will take the form of a photographic tour of six laboratories affiliated with the CNRS Nuclear & Particles Institute.
At the end of these visits, participants will submit their best shots. Each laboratory will select its favorite photos from among those submitted by participating photographers, which will then be sent to compete in the global competition organized by Interactions.
