The University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB), in collaboration with Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme and with the support of the City of Chambéry, is hosting its traditional conference to mark the start of the academic year on the topic of tourism on Thursday, September 26, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Le Manège Convention Center in Chambéry.
Every year, in addition to serving as an event for tourism professionals in the Savoie Mont Blanc region, it also serves as a kickoff conference for students at the International Center for Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management (CITHEME) at IAE Savoie Mont Blanc. A highlight to kick off the year of exchange and collaboration for nearly 400 people involved in tourism in the region: students, faculty members, and industry professionals.
In this new edition, the focus will be on the highly practical issue of new management tools for tourism stakeholders, as illustrated by two concrete and innovative tools.
