About the conference

In the United States, the law has become an economic weapon. A weapon that wreaks havoc on Washington's enemies, but also on its friends. For the past decade, European and Chinese companies have been facing the wrath of Justice Department prosecutors and financial regulators who suspect them of violating US laws (anti-corruption, embargo violations, export licensing, etc.). The conference shows how America has opened a new front in the economic war that is destabilizing the rest of the world. A destabilization that is only just beginning.
