From November 16 to 18, the Languages, Literature, Societies, Cross-Border and International Studies Laboratory (LLSETI) at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) is organizing the 2023 international conference of the French Society for Scottish Studies (SFEE) entitled "Intercultural Contacts and Exchanges."
ABOUT THE CONGRESS
This conference will explore the various, often contradictory, facets of contact between cultural and geographical areas, as well as the intercultural exchanges that can result from such contact. The conference committee therefore encourages participants to discuss the sociocultural, linguistic, literary, historical, and political contacts that Scotland has maintained over the centuries with its neighbors and with the host countries of its diaspora, whether friendly and fraternal or tense and conflictual.
The conference will take place on the Jacob Bellecombette campus; in building 20, room 20020 on November 16 and 17, and in building 19, lecture halls 19000 and room 19002.
