From September 14 to October 2, 2026, the University Libraries (BU) on the Annecy and Bourget-du-Lac campuses will simultaneously host the exhibition “Women in Science,” organized by the USMB.
About the exhibition
Research is like exploring without a map. Observing, questioning, making connections, and starting over. In the USMB laboratories, female researchers are working on a wide range of topics—some visible, others invisible; some immediate, others distant.
This exhibition aims to highlight the role of women in science, showcase their work, and inspire others. Designed to be widely shared, it is intended for a non-scientific audience—both within and outside the USMB—and demonstrates how research is shaping the world of tomorrow.
Highlight
Mylène Vonderscher, a doctoral student at the Interuniversity Laboratory of Motor Biology (LIBM) and a participant in the “Women in Science” exhibition, will give a lecture titled “From Science to Movement: The Journey of a Biomechanics Researcher” at the Bourget-du-Lac campus library on September 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
