About the artist Cobie
"Cobie's artistic approach is characterized by his ironic political engagement and playful interventions in public spaces. Through his collages, he expresses an offbeat sense of humor and a desire to provoke reflection among viewers" (Source: Cobie).
His humorous work based on the absurd invites us to take a step back and look at our society and its trajectories.
About the exhibition
The artist Cobie's ambition during the artistic residency that led to this exhibition was to engage the general public on the subject of climate change through dark humor and absurdity, inviting everyone to take a step back and reflect.
This exhibition was conceived as part of a residency funded by INRAE, OSUG, the UGA's culture and scientific culture department, and Labex ITTEM.
