About the interventions
-
"Prehistoric underground structures": a lecture presented by Jules Kemper, lecturer and researcher at the EDYTEM laboratory
-
About the conference: "True 'time capsules,' caves preserve traces of human and animal activity. Some may have been modified in prehistoric times, but these changes are often hidden by the passage of time: stalagmites have grown, blocks have collapsed, and the landscape has changed. How can we identify inconsistencies in the relief that could reveal long-lost structures? Thanks to 3D techniques and mapping, it is possible to study these cavities as mineral crime scenes, offering a new perspective on ancient underground practices."
