The 26th edition of the Fête de la Science will take place from October 7 to 15, 2017, throughout France. Once again this year, this national event provides an opportunity for the public and the scientific community to come together and discuss the various facets of science and technology in a fun and unconventional atmosphere.
Challenging preconceived notions and exercising critical thinking are integral parts of scientific inquiry. The partners in this new edition will introduce us to this approach and help us apply it in our daily lives, both as individuals and as citizens.
COME MEET RESEARCHERS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SAVOIE MONT BLANC
Get hands-on, try things out, take part in lab tours, talk with researchers, learn about careers in research, and spark your interest in science! The Fête de la Science features thousands of free activities across France. During this event, science takes over public spaces, and researchers come to meet you.
For the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, the “Festival of Science” is an opportunity to raise awareness of its research areas and its role in society. Interacting with middle and high school students also helps to engage young audiences and foster an interest in science in general, as well as in scientific studies and careers.
