Save the date: summer is coming, and so are the jobs! For the eleventh consecutive year, the Savoie Youth Information Service of the Mission Locale Jeunes du Bassin Chambérien & the City of Chambéry are organizing the "Summer Jobs" forum on Thursday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Le Manège Convention Center. This event is an opportunity for young people to learn about the different aspects of looking for a job, meet employers, and, above all, get hired on the spot!
Different thematic areas during the forum
An "Offers and Recruitment" area
Display of local and regional job offers by sector of activity and "job dating" with around thirty employers in various sectors: entertainment and adapted vacation stays, personal services, community services, administrative services, commerce, mass retail, temporary work, hospitality and catering, agriculture, logistics, etc.
Workshops to boost your application
Help with writing resumes and cover letters, "image consulting" to ace your job interview.
Documentation section
Distribution of the 2018 edition of the "Finding a Job" guide (45 pages, free): labor legislation, jobs that are hiring, search tips, useful addresses, advice on writing your resume or cover letter, documentation for young people on alternatives before the age of 18, BAFA (youth leader certification), international jobs.
