In October 2023 the 34th edition of Mental Health Awareness Weeks (SISM) will take place, with the annual theme: “At every stage of life, my mental health is a right.” As part of this initiative, the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) will participate in SISM on Wednesday, October 11, at the Jacob-Bellecombette campus.
On the agenda
From noon to 5 p.m., a Psy’Truck will be on campus: it will serve as a space for discussion focused on raising awareness, destigmatizing mental health issues, and promoting prevention, and will be located on the plaza between the University Library, the Sports Hall, and the pergola, near Lecture Hall 11000.
The PsyTruck is a program supported by local authorities (Local Mental Health Councils, which involve local governments), the IREPS (Regional Authority for Health Education and Promotion), and theRegional Health Agency.
The Psy’Truck will also visit the Annecy campus on October 18, 2023. [More information here]. In addition to these two booths, an evening conference—a panel discussion organized in partnership withUNICEF France —will also be held on October 18, 2023, on the Jacob campus. [More information to come]
