The Languages, Literatures, Societies, Cross-Border and International Studies Laboratory (LLSETI) is hosting the “Landscapes” seminar on Tuesday, June 5, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., on the Chambéry/Jacob-Bellecombette campus (Room 10 011, Building 10).
The LLSETI “Landscapes” seminar promotes interdisciplinary dialogue on the definitions, representations, and methodologies applied to the concept of landscape. Following a session on March 15 featuring a medieval historian and a geologist, the “Landscapes” seminar welcomes sociologist Olivier Chavanon to mark the release of the scientific documentary titled “Baraques, villages nègres et bidonvilles, ” a film produced by the USMB Research Center, funded by the Ministry of Culture, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Rize in Villeurbanne, and the Tony Garnier Urban Museum.
