The USMB's Innovative Mountain Tourism Center presents its activities

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, the Innovative Mountain Tourism Center at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc will present its activities at an event focused on fostering dialogue and collaboration among tourism stakeholders, local government officials, and the university.

This presentation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the Bourget-du-Lac campus, in Building 3, Pôle Montagne.

ON THE PROGRAM

  • 9:00–9:30 a.m.: Welcome reception with coffee
  • 9:30–10:30 a.m.: Testimonials from partners of the Tourism Cluster and a discussion with the audience on:
    • The Great Outdoors Like Nowhere Else: Developing Innovative Outdoor Activities to Attract New Customers
    • Valley Region: Understanding the Area to Promote Year-Round Tourism Diversification
    • Expanding the Chinese customer base: a challenge for our regions
    • Grand Site Classification: Supporting Regions in Obtaining Certifications to Boost Their Appeal
    • Developing Tourism in the Franco-Swiss Cross-Border Region: Boosting Tourism by Connecting Tourism Stakeholders
    • Developing new sources of appeal: culture as a driver of appeal for mountain regions
