The Trial of AI

April 22, 2026, 6:00 p.m. - April 22, 2026, 8:00 PM

What if artificial intelligence took the stand?

Header for the AI trial

"The AI Trial" is an immersive theatrical lecture that explores, over the course of two hours, the major issues surrounding AI: environmental impact, bias, privacy, employment, creativity, autonomy, and more.

This event offers a dynamic and accessible way for us to discuss the potential and limitations of this technology together.

  • Amid accusations and arguments, the prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge clash on stage while the defendant—an AI speaking live—attempts to defend itself.
  • No fewer than 15 charges were brought against artificial intelligence in this mock trial.
Should artificial intelligence be condemned or acquitted?
It is YOU, as members of the jury, who will have the final say!

An event that has already drawn hundreds of spectators at venues such as the Grenoble Tourist Office and the 2025 Science Festival.
