The Languages, Literature, Societies, Cross-Border and International Studies (LLSETI) at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB), together with the association Avis de tapage, in collaboration with the Migrant'scène festival, are organizing the broadcast of a collective sound work entitled "Les voix de la Clairière" (The Voices of the Clearing) on December 2 on the open stage of the Base, Espace Malraux.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
"Choose an address from your life. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you smell?" These questions were posed in a French workshop at a community center. Texts produced and everyday sounds were then woven together to create "Les Voix de la Clairière" (The Voices of the Clearing), a collective symphony. The broadcast will be followed by a discussion with Rémi Bricout, composer of the piece, and Maude Vadot, lecturer in language sciences and language teaching at the LLSETI laboratory at the University of Monmouth, who came up with the idea.
