With several medals already under their belts, the USMB student teams are determined to win another podium finish this year!

The Nuit de l’Info in Savoie will take place in the Maurienne building on the Bourget-du-Lac campus, fromThursday, December 7 at 4:38 p.m. until 8:06 a.m. the following morning.

the night in a few words

The principle is very simple:

  • A topic (the same for all of France) is developed by the partner companies of La Nuit de l'Info.
    • The partners also set challenges, which are rewarded with bonuses (gift vouchers, etc.).
  • On Thursday, December 7, at sunset,4:38 p.m., in plenary session:
    • The organizing team gives participants a topic (the same for all of France).
  • Students organize themselves into groups (at one or more sites):
    • They develop a project (IT, marketing, editorial, etc.) while targeting one or more challenges.
  • On Friday, December 8, at sunrise, 8:06 a.m., developments are frozen.
    • The students (and the valiant teachers, researchers, and engineers who spent the night with the students) are going to get some rest.
  • On Friday mornings, while the students are still asleep:
    • Juries meet at the various sites (one jury per challenge) and examine the work completed by the different teams during the night.
