Artistic educational workshop with choreographer Piergiorgio Milano

April 16, 2020, 12:00 a.m.

This program is part of the ALCOTRA-Corpo Link Cluster project and is specifically designed for students who participate in mountain sports that require the use of ropes to ensure safe progression. Within this framework, the artist’s proposal aims to explore climbing as a form of self-expression while also exploring artistic expression in the vertical dimension.

This program includes two events:

  • Three 3-hour sessions will be offered between January and March
  • A debriefing session is scheduled for April 16, 2020, at the climbing wall at the Chambéry train station

Piergiorgio Milano is an internationally renowned choreographer and artist based between Brussels, Belgium, and Turin, Italy. His background combines dance, circus, theater, and martial arts. His experiences in dance, circus, and as a performer translate into a physical language that blends virtuosity of movement with a strong theatrical aesthetic. His work exists indefinitely at the intersection of different arts, categories, and disciplines, and it is when he seeks to transcend these boundaries that he finds his strength in his creative processes. His performances and choreographies are the result of a radical fusion of dance, circus, and theater. For more information, contact:
