In partnership withEspace Malraux and Corpo Link Cluster, the Cultural Office of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc is offering a dance master class with dancer and choreographer Mickaël Phelippeau.
Three sessions will be held on the Bourget-du-Lac campus:
- Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, March 17, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The master classes are part of the show “Footballeuses,” which will take place on Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16, at the Espace Malraux Scène Nationale in Chambéry. The show features dance portraits—with a touch of humor—in which the movements and physicality of the people the artist has met are transformed into choreographed gestures. Among the female soccer players, ten women of different ages and backgrounds—all sharing a love for soccer, training, and club life, but also facing stereotypes and mockery—share their stories.
A lecture on the history of women’s soccer will also be held on the Bourget-du-Lac campus on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
