As part of the USMB’s Perspectives Théâtrales program, in partnership with Espace Malraux, a theater workshop for students will be held on December 2 and 3, 2017, on the Chambéry/Jacob-Bellecombette campus. This workshop, which is free for students upon registration, is open to both beginners and those with prior amateur theater experience, and will be led by two professional actresses: Sarah Barrau and Anne-Sophie Galinier. It will allow participants to explore the various stages leading from an actor’s physical preparation to the stage performance.
The workshop will take place inLecture Hall 11000 on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will consist of two sessions:
- Physical training (please wear comfortable clothing): After a physical warm-up, we will engage in progressive improvisation exercises (starting alone without dialogue, then in pairs, then in groups, gradually moving toward dialogue-based interaction).
- Vocal exercises, coordination of speech and movement.
