As part of the 2017 Science Festival and to mark its 30th anniversary, the Laboratory of Molecular Chemistry and Environment ( LCME) at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc is opening its doors and unveiling its chemistry on Tuesday, October 10, and Thursday, October 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Bourget-du-Lac campus.
In response to preconceived notions that often classify chemistry as an abstract discipline, more often criticized than valued, researchers at the LCME are organizing two open house days at the laboratory, featuring themed workshops that will provide insight into the evolution of chemistry and its contribution to environmental issues.
