Savoie Mont Blanc University is once again participating in the nationwide “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” challenge!
The first decisive round of the "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" competition
The local preliminary selection will take place on Tuesday, February 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Office of the President of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (Decottignies Auditorium). The 12 USMB candidates for the 2026 edition will compete for the two spots that will open the doors to the academic finals!
The jury will select the two winners who will represent USMB in the academic finals.
The event is open exclusively to students and university staff. It will also be streamed live for this audience (the link to access the live stream will be sent via email the day before the event).
As a reminder, this competition challenges participating doctoral students to present their thesis topic in just three minutes to a diverse audience, using simple, clear, and compelling language!
This first stage of the competition is crucial for the rest of the MT180 adventure, as it will allow two of them to qualify for the academic finals, which will take place on March 17 at the Maison de la Culture in Grenoble (MC2).
