Organized by the Alpine Research Center on Trophic Networks and Limnic Ecosystems (CARRTEL), the French Office for Biodiversity, the Laboratory of Ecology of Natural and Anthropized Hydrosystems (LEHNA, University of Lyon 1), the Aquatic Ecosystems and Global Change Unit (EABX), and the Rhône Basin Workshop Zone – GRAIE, the first national conference—Interactions Between Aquatic Plants and Their Environment—will take place September 28–29, 2023, on the Bourget-du-Lac campus .
More information about the event:
The aim of these workshops is to integrate scientific knowledge regarding the interactions between aquatic plants and their environment in order to address management challenges and develop solutions.
The overall objective is to gain a better understanding of the effects of environmental changes on primary producers and, consequently, on the functioning of aquatic ecosystems.
The main objectives of these events are to:
- Synthesize scientific knowledge
- Share feedback
- Build a national network that brings together scientists and managers to study these interactions
- Identify the network’s initial activities: research, experimentation, and dissemination
