The curriculum at IUTs is evolving: the Bachelor of Technology (BUT) is becoming the new standard degree
This three-year program, set to begin in September 2021, combines academic instruction, professional simulations, and extended periods of work experience (with various options available, such as internships or work-study programs), in order to offer a degree tailored to the careers of today and tomorrow. By placing a competency-based approach at the heart of the program, the BUT will better align instruction with the expectations and needs of the professional world.
Based on innovative teaching methods and training content developed in collaboration with socio-economic stakeholders, the BUT program offers a substantial number of course hours, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in the business world.
Business leaders will therefore be working closely with students who are more independent, better equipped to adapt throughout their professional careers, and possess a broader range of skills tailored to the realities of the workplace.
