The " Unusual Fifteen Minutes" event scheduled for this Tuesday, December 13, at 12 p.m. at the University Library on the Bourget-du-Lac campus for a lecture on the theme of “paradoxes” has been canceled.
About the theme
Paradoxes play an important role in science, often prompting particularly relevant questions. This lecture will explore a few of them, and we’ll learn, among other things, how to properly park a space shuttle in orbit.
About "Unusual 15-Minute Segments"
In a short lecture, Richard Taillet, a CNRS researcher at the Annecy-le-Vieux Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (LAPTh) at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, presents a simple yet surprising phenomenon in a fun and engaging way, drawing on various scientific fields (physics, mathematics, and others).
