The 5th edition of the USMB-Sporaltec Innovation Challenge will take place on October 9 and 10, 2017, on the Bourget-du-Lac university campus.
As it does every two years, the Raid is an integral part of the Design Summer Camp organized by Outdoor Sports Valley (OSV), EuroSIMA, and ESTIA on October 10 and 11, 2017, at the Chambéry riding arena.
THE INNOVATION RALLY
Organized by the University of Savoie Mont Blanc and the Sporaltec Cluster, in partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Saint-Étienne Metropolitan Area, and the Grenoble Alpes Metropolitan Area, the Raid Innovation combines outdoor sports with mental challenges. It provides an opportunity forthe ingenuity and creativity of students and recent graduates to come together with innovation projects or service and product design proposals submitted by companies.
ON THE PROGRAM
Teams of 5 to 6 students (engineers, designers, managers, etc.) with complementary skill sets will have two full days to participate in a variety of sports (trail running, mountain biking, water sports, etc.) and work on an R&D project proposed by companies in the sports, wellness, and health sectors.
