Higgs Evening at LAPP

July 5, 2022, 6:00 p.m.

In 2022, CERN is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the discovery of the Higgs boson by the ATLAS and CMS experiments. The work of the ATLAS group at the Annecy Laboratory of Particle Physics (LAPP) was instrumental in this discovery. LAPP scientists working on the ATLAS experiment, who contributed to this discovery, are organizing a public event to help people understand this major breakthrough.

The conference will take place on July 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at LAPP. This event will celebrate the discovery, provide an overview of what has been learned since then, and look ahead to what lies ahead.

Those interested can also visit the EUTOPIA Discovery Space for an opportunity to speak with scientists before or after the conference.

Since space is limited, registration is required.
