On Thursday, March 26 at 9 p.m., Alberto Gozzi's play Dichiarazione ("Declaration") will be performed in Auditorium 11,000 on the Jacob-Bellecombette campus.
About the show
Performed in Italian, Alberto Gozzi's show is based on the declaration, a form of verbal expression inherent to theater due to the countless declarations of love found in the theatrical repertoire of all periods, but also because the declaration is close to the confession, the declaration of intent or principles, or even the declaration of war.
Designed for two actors, the show unfolds as a collage and rapid succession of texts by authors from different cultures, allowing the concept of declaration to be explored and gradually modified.
A French translation of the scenes performed will be provided to the audience.
