From April 8 to September 2, 2023, the Eureka Gallery, a partner of the University of Monmouth, is organizing an exhibition entitled "Super Equal: The Power of Gender Equality." As part of this exhibition, a round table discussion on the theme "What do neuroscience and social psychology say about gender equality?" will take place on Saturday, May 13, at 3 p.m., at the Galerie Eurêka.
About the roundtable discussion
Why do women not have access to the same positions as men, or find it more difficult to do so? The aim of this round table is to discuss the differences, or lack thereof, between women and men from a neuroscientific perspective. This meeting is also an opportunity to address a number of social psychology concepts that explain these inequalities and differences in status.
The speakers
- Lauranne Jacob, from the Savoie Lean In Network movement, who will moderate the roundtable discussion
- Clémentine Bry, lecturer in social psychology at the Inter-University Psychology Laboratory (LIP/PC2S), jointly supervised by UGA/USMB
- Marie Prévost, PhD in neuroscience and associate researcher at the president and founder of La Fabrique à Neurones
