On March 3 and 4, 2023, Chambéry will take on the colors of the world thanks to the Tour du Monde au Manège. Twenty-nine countries will be featured in this festive25th edition, with the Netherlands in the spotlight.
Come to the Le Manège Convention Center in Chambéry ( free admission) to celebrate the cultures of the world in a spirit of sharing, conviviality, and joy. Ambassadors of this country, the Dutch will take you on a journey through the colors and flavors of their country.
This year, the world tour at the carousel also offers an exceptional "pre-party" on Thursday, March 2 at 8 p.m., with a screening of the film "The Grand Budapest Hotel" at the Espace Malraux in Chambéry.
The Tour du Monde au Manège is organized by a team of first-yearmaster'sstudentsin Event Management and EngineeringatIAE Savoie Mont Blanc, ledby the City of Chambéry, with the support of numerous partners.
On the agenda
Thursday, March 2: A special pre-event
– film screening at 8 p.m. at the Espace Malraux in Chambéry.
Friday, March 3: Activities for schoolchildren and inauguration – 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
– Activities with children from Chambéry schools: crafts, bike workshop, fun games about the environment, introduction to Brazilian percussion, visit to the stands,
– 6 p.m.: Inauguration ceremony,
– 8:30–10 p.m.: Festive rock concerts and world music atmosphere.
Saturday, March 4: TDM for the general public – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: festive musical parade through the city of Chambéry,
– entertainment and conferences,
– introduction to circus arts and country dancing,
– grand raffle with a paragliding flight for two as the prize.
