Wondering what to do after high school?
Choosing a course of study after high school is an important step. At the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, you can explore a variety of degree programs based on your goals, background, and interests, and receive support throughout your academic journey.
The university offers several types of degrees, which can be pursued after high school graduation or as part of a transition to an undergraduate program:
-
Bachelor’s degrees and professional bachelor’s degrees are three-year university programs that begin after high school graduation. They allow students to explore a field of study, gradually develop their career plans, and, depending on their goals, either pursue a master’s degree or enter the workforce.
-
BUT (Bachelor of Technology) programs are also three-year degree programs offered after high school graduation. More structured and practice-oriented, they are offered at university-affiliated technical colleges ( IUTs ) and include periods of professional training (internships, work-study programs).
