CROUS residences

The residences offer a capacity of 1,059 places spread over the university's 3 campuses.

Different types of accommodation are available:

  • traditional 9 m² (Jacob) or 12 m² (Bourget-du-Lac) rooms
  • renovated rooms with individual bathrooms
  • studios or apartments to share in the new residences

Housing applications can be made online at http://www.crous-grenoble.fr/

  • between January 15 and May 15 of the year preceding your registration for housing allocations at the start of the September school year
  • all year round for an application for accommodation during the year or for a short-term application

Housing departments of Chambéry, Annecy and Aix-les-Bains town halls


In the Chambéry conurbation, find accommodation offers on the Kestudi website.

The Aix les Bains Riviera des Alpes Tourist Office and the town halls offer accommodation on their premises. website.

In the Annecy conurbation, the Bureau Information Jeunesse organizes a housing service on the Ville d'Annecy website.

Family allowance fund (CAF)

From now on, you can apply for housing benefit 100% online: no need to go to the CAF. Everything is done online on the CAF website.

Visale scheme

 Offered by Action Logement, Visale is a completely free, no-means-tested guarantee scheme for young people aged 18 to 30. It is available for both private housing and student accommodation in Crous halls of residence. For further information, visit visale.fr
