The "Where have the fireflies gone?" science film organized by the association Sciences-Actions will take place on April 27, 2023 at 8:30pm at the Cinéma Astrée in Chambéry.
ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY
Director Corentin Kimenau presents the documentary as follows: "April 2020. While some 3 billion human beings are confined to their homes, street lamps remain lit, consuming energy and illuminating empty streets. In this documentary, I look at the impact of light pollution on the environment, on human beings and on their ability to dream. I see that it is possible to light more intelligently without having to switch off and go back to the Stone Age. In response to my memories and Pasolini, I also set out to find the fireflies of my childhood, drowned in this over-lit world where darkness is too often confused with obscurantism."
