To mark the 10th anniversary of the official launch of the nationwide geological heritage knowledge program, the Ministry in charge of the Environment, the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle and the Université de Savoie Mont Blanc are co-organizing a restitution symposium for the Inventaire National du Patrimoine Géologique (INPG). It will be held at the Le Manège Convention Center in Chambéry on October 15 and 16, 2018. These two days will be followed by a day trip to the Bauges massif, a territory with the Unesco Global Geopark label.
Presentations are by invitation only, but anyone with an interest in geological heritage is welcome to submit a poster (contact us for details).
