march 29, 2023 09:00 - march 31, 2023 18:00

The Laboratoire d'Ecologie Alpine (LECA), the Environnements, Dynamiques et Territoires de Montagne (EDYTEM) laboratory, the Centre de recherche en droit Antoine Favre, as well as the Université de Lyon and the Université de Limoges are organizing an interdisciplinary symposium entitled " Cohabitation entre pratiques récréatives et faune sauvage" .

The symposium will take place from March 29 to 31 at the Pôle Montagne, on the Bourget-du-Lac university campus.

ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

This symposium addresses the issue of living together between recreational and sporting practices and wild animals in different types of territory (mountain, rural, coastal). It is part of an inter- and trans-disciplinary project (HUMANI) at the crossroads of sociology, geography, ecology and nature management, financed by the French National Research Agency (ANR). The aim is to jointly study recreational users (their behaviors, perceptions and representations) and the consequences of human presence on wildlife.
