This year,université Savoie Mont Blanc and the université Savoie Mont Blanc Faculty of Law are hosting the tenth series of Comparative Political Life Lectures, featuring researchers in the social sciences and humanities whose work sheds light on major contemporary socio-political issues.
These lectures are organized using the Zoom online tool and are open to the general public without registration.
For the fourth lecture in this series, Joseph Hivert, PhD in political science from theUniversity of Lausanne, will give a talk on his recently completed thesis entitled "Les enfants du militantisme" ("The children of militancy") on Thursday March 25 from 3.45pm to 5.30pm. Transmission intergénérationnelle des dispositions politiques en contexte autoritaire (Maroc, des années 1970 à nos jours)".

about the speaker
Joseph Hivert, PhD in political science from theUniversity of Lausanne, is a specialist in the sociology of political socialization and the sociology of commitment. He has worked in particular on former far-left political prisoners in Morocco and their families, focusing on the question of intergenerational transmission of political commitment.
