[DELAYED] Conference / Round table on mental health

[DELAYED] In October 2023 the 34th edition of the Semaines d'Information sur la Santé Mentale (SISM - Mental Health Information Weeks ) will take place, with the annual theme of "A tous les âges de la vie, ma santé mentale est un droit" ("At all ages of life, my mental health is a right"). Within this framework,université Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) is organizing, alongside UNICEF France, a conference/round-table on the theme of " children's mental health " , which was due to take place on Wednesday October 18 at 6pm. However, the conference has to be postponed. The date of the postponement will be communicated as soon as it is known.

About the conference

université Savoie Mont Blanc will be pleased to welcomeUNICEF France, chaired by Adeline HAZAN (honorary magistrate, former elected representative, former controller of places of deprivation of liberty), and will attend the presentation of the advocacy, presented by Sarah BEN-SMIDA, Advocacy and Mental Health Program Officer: "UNICEF France's commitment to the mental health of children and young people". A scientific presentation on "the challenges of preventing mental health problems from childhood onwards" will also be given by Arnaud Carré, a psychology researcher at the USMB Inter-University Psychology Laboratory (LIP/PC2S ).
A round-table discussion will bring together members ofUNICEF, the Centre Hospitalier Métropole Savoie (Dr. Rose-Marie Herbigneaux, Pediatrician, Head of the Mother-Child Pediatrics Unit), the Centre Hospitalier Spécialisé - CHS de la Savoie (Ms. Marine Fiorentino, Psychologist) and theUSMB (Yann Favier, researcher in Law; Bérangère Legendre, researcher in Economics, in charge of scientific axes in the BEST Chair).
Discussions will take place between the speakers and with the audience. Scientific, clinical and political perspectives will be exchanged.
