On Tuesday 5 June, from 2 pm to 5 pm, the Languages, Literatures, Societies, Cross-Border and International Studies (LLSETI) laboratory is organising the "Landscapes" seminar on the Chambéry/Jacob-Bellecombette campus (room 10 011, building 10).
The LLSETI "Landscapes" seminar fosters disciplinary confrontation around definitions, representations and methodologies applied to the notion of landscape. After having received, on March 15th, a historian of the Middle Ages and a geologist, the seminar "Landscapes" welcomes the sociologist Olivier Chavanon on the occasion of the release of the scientific documentary entitled "Baraques, villages nègres et shandonvilles", a film produced by the Survey Unit of the USMB, financed by the Ministry of Culture, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region, the Rize de Villeurbanne, the Tony Garnier Urban Museum.
