UNIVERCINÉ, THE USMB CINEMA

The Univerciné association was set up in 1996 to promote art-house cinema and research. Since then, the Univerciné team has endeavored to fulfill this mission by offering the public in Chambéry films in a variety of genres (drama, comedy, cinema classics, fantasy, documentary, etc.), exclusively in the original version with subtitles. In addition to its regular programming, Univerciné offers themed evenings, screenings and discussions in the presence of filmmakers and/or lecturers. Université Savoie Mont Blanc is the only university in France to have a cinema with commercial status, enabling it to show all films in national release.
