Savoie Mont Blanc University is once again taking part in the nationwide “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” challenge! Better yet, for the first time, USMB will host the academic finals for the 2024 edition in Chambéry in March 2024!
The first decisive round of the "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" competition
The local preliminary round will take place on Thursday, February 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the IAE Savoie Mont Blanc on the Annecy campus ( Lecture Hall 12). The seven USMB candidates for the 2024 edition will compete for the two spots that will secure their place in the academic finals!
The jury will select the two winners who will represent USMB in the academic finals.
The event is open exclusively to students and university staff. It will also be streamed live for this audience (you will receive the access codes for the live stream via email the day before the event).
As a reminder, this competition challenges participating doctoral students to present their thesis topic in just three minutes to a diverse audience, using simple, clear, and compelling language!
This first stage of the competition is crucial for the rest of the MT180 adventure!
Don’t forget the date of the academic finals: they will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Espace Malraux, Chambéry’s national theater.
