The 3 steps of the admission process

Step 1: Parcoursup application (below)

Step 2: Administrative registration with the central school office

Step 3: Academic registration with your assigned academic unit (School, Institute, Department)

You are an international student who is not a citizen of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation AND are either preparing for or have already earned a high school diploma that qualifies you for higher education, or are currently enrolled in higher education abroad.

  • If you are preparing for or have already earned the French baccalaureate: this procedure applies to you Parcoursup
  • If you have dual citizenship, including French citizenship or European citizenship other than French: this procedure applies to you Parcoursupprocess. When completing your Parcoursup application, you must indicate that you have dual citizenship.
  • If you live in a country not covered by the Études en France application process (countries not listed below as being connected to Études en France): this process applies to you Parcoursup

You must submit your application online via the Études en France portal by December 15, 2025. This application is required to obtain a visa.
